Ammonium Sulphate

It is an inorganic salt having commercial value. It is widely used as a fertilizer. It contains 21% nitrogen in ammonium cation form and 24% sulphure in sulphate anion form. The function of sulphate in fertilizer is to reduce the pH of the soil.
