Copper
It is a soft, malleable and ductile metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity. The newly exposed pure copper surface is in pinkish-orange color.
Copper is used in building materials as a conductor of heat and electricity, in the composition of various metal alloys, in jewelry such as sterling silver, in the manufacture of cupronickel marine hardware and coins, and in constantan load meters and thermocouples measuring temperature.
